Makinf Connections Number 1
Mixed messages are always given. A good example in education is when a child finally reaches college. Everyone says to have so much fun and get involved. Although on the other hand, many people want you to stay in and constantly study and do homework. The mixed messages of college life is hard to figure out. Parents want their children to have fun but at the same time get fantastic grades and study all the time. As a student, I try to balance all the extra curricular and school. I want to go out and have fun at games to support Plattsburgh, but something always keeps me in the dorm or library studying. I feel this is the mixed messages I received as a college student. I want to have fun, yet get an education.

I completely agree with this post. Everyone tells you to make time for yourself and how college is suppose to be the best time of your life, yet we are expected to get high grades in classes that are much more challenging than high school.
